REBELS PAID TO "DOWN ARMS." SHANGHAI, Sept. 3. The rebels have evacuated Lion Hill.' The capture of Nanking is complete. The revolt at Wuhu has collapsed. Merchants, paying thirty thousand dollars, persuaded the rebels to lay down their arms.
