PEGOUD'S WONDERFUL FEATS
LOOPING THE LOOP.
PARIS, Sept. 2
The aeronaut Pegoud, who while strapped in a Bleriot monoplane yesterday succeeded in making the machine "loop the loop" in mid-air, repeated his performance to-day before members of the Army Aviation Committee.
Ascending until the machine was lost to sight in the clouds Pegoud brought the aeroplane down tail in air at a terrific speed to five hundred metres. Then he headed downward wheels in air, shot forward for twenty seconds and resumed the normal position, landing after a topsy-turvy-evolution of an indescribable nature. Pegoud received an ovation from the spectators.
