G. W. Phipps, auctioneer, reports that at his bi-weekly sales prices were fully maintained. The following prices were realised: Poultry.—Cockerels 2/1 to 2/5 each, roosters 2/5 to 2/(3 each, hens 2/1 to 2/4, ducks 2/9 each, turkey hens 6/ to 7/. Dairy Produce.—Butter (separator) 1/ per lb. ( eggs (fresh) 1/ to 1/1 per dozen, bacon (farmers' sides) B%d to 11%-d per lb. Farmers Produce.—New potatoes 14/ per cwt., wheat (fowl) 4/ per bushel, chaff 7/6 per bag, turnips (swede) 8/4 per cwt, peas (seed) 3d per lb. Kitchen Garden.—Cabbage 4/ per dozen, cauliflower 2/6 to 3/ per doz., turnips 1/ to 1/3 per dozen, lettuce 1/ per dozen, radishes 1/ per dozen, cabbage plants 1/4 per 100, cauliflower 1/4 to 2/ per 100. In demand —roosters, ducks and turkeys.
