MORE TAXATION.
TO SUPPORT GERMANY'S CREDIT.

BERLIN, Feb. 15
In the Reichstag, during the 'debate en the Estimates, the Secretary of the Treasury demanded that the new army and navy expenditure should be met by fresh taxation. Germany's credit must be maintained.. An extra £100,000 was being asked for aeroplanes and dirigibles, and an additional £30,000 to strengthen the troops at Kai-chau.
