FIERCE FIGHT IN PORTUGAL.

(Received Jan. 12, 12.50 p.m.) LISBON, Jan. 11. Republicans from Onteiro destroyed the much-revered image of the Lady of Lourdes in the neighboring village of Assentis. Two thousand Catholics marched into Outeiro, and in a fierce fight five persons were killed and forty seriously wounded.
