LOSS OF EYESIGHT

LONDON, Dec. 17. General Booth will shortly be operated on for cataract of the left «.-.ye. During his motor tour in July his right eye became inflamed, and he has since lost the sight of the eye. He is now unable to recognise h>s friends, though he woi'lw daily.
