PURCHASED FOR £15,000

Sir E. Cassel, a London financier, has bought from the Ministry of Works, for £15,000, a gramme of radium, which he is presenting to the Cancer Research Institute in England.
A few years ago Sir E. Cassel gave £200,000 for the establishment by King Edward of consumptive sanatoria in Britain.
