THE CAMBRIAN MINERS,

Miners from other districts attended the meeting of the Cambrian combine of miners on Sunday, which resolved that twelve thousand should strike The strike started on the following day. When they re-voted vestorday, calnnr conditions prevailed, and it was decided to return to work, at tbe same time tendering a month's notice from the first of October. *
Mr D: A. Thomas, M.P., representing the combine, refused premission to resume, but eventually met a deputation of the strikers and arranged a provisional settlement of the original dispute.
