THREE DISPUTES,
CONCILIATORY EFFORTS
WELLINGTON, Sept. 21
The shearers' dispute was mentioned in the Arbitration Court to-day. Mr Pryor, representing the employers, said that the matter was still one of negotiations. There would be three disputes, and these could be take a together. The court appointed to-morrow afternoon to hear the dispute Subsequently a conference betwoen the employers and employees was hold in camera. As a result commisKic/ners Hally and Triggs will probably make a recommendation. as affecting both Canterbury and Otago, but thery is rloubt whether the Nor':h Islan-* employers will fall in with thM particular recommendation. The parties to meet again this afternoon.
