FARMERS' ASSOCIATION.

A well-attendefl meeting of the committee of the Mangap*: Riding Farmers' Asosciation was held on the 17th inst., the president, Mr Harrison, being in the chair. The schedule for the ensuing show was revised and a few alterations made. The three hack classes will be 10, 12, and 14 stone. Classes for boy's pony and pony 14.2 were added. The cobs were divided into 2 classes, light and heavy, and a class for the best hunter was added. Very v little alteration was made in the cattle, but in the sheep section the prizes have been considerably increased. The three breeds —Lincolns, Romneys, and Shropshire Downs —are all placed on an equality as-regards number of classes and prizes. A committee of ladies was appointed to revise the schedule for thMr classes. Mr Hill was elected a member of the committee. It was decided to lock the gates of Harrison's Park, and Mr W.
