OBITUARY.
PROMINENT AUTHORITY ON
BOTANY.
WELLINGTON, Sept. 20
A private cable brings the news of the death in Switzerland of Dr. F. B. Hutchinson, formerly of Wellington and Taranaki.
Deceased was aged 63 and before coming to the Dominion lived in North America and Honolulu. He was a great advocate of physical culture, and an eminent authority on botany, and had lived in Switzerland for some years before his death.
