NEW ZEALAND MINERALS AT THE EXHIBITION.
Melbourne, Sept. 5. Mr John Buchanan, of Auckland, presided at a meeting which was held on Monday, to protest against the inadequate representation of the colony's mineral and other resources, at the Centennial Exhibition. It was resolved to ask the Government of New Zealand to expend a further sum of money in order to have the colony adequately represented.
Sydney, Sept. 5. The horse market is dull. The shipment from Canterbury, ex steamei Waihora, put up to auction to-daj was not sold.
