RESIGNATION OF COUNT VON MOLTYKE.
Berlin, August 14. Field Marshall General Count Von Moltkye has been appointed President of the National Defence Commission, and has resigned his position as Chief Qeneral of the Prussian Army Staff. He will be succeed by Lieut-General Count Von Waldersee. The Emperor William has written to General Count Von Moltyke a friendly letter accepting his resignation as Field Marshall of the Imporial forces.
