NOTICE is hereby given, that the Whangarei Bine Volunteers intend to apply to the General Assembly of New Zealand, at its present session, for the passing of a Bill to be intituted " The Whangarei Drill Shed Act, 1888," and that the purport and objects of the said Bill are to vest in Thomas Viret ShepKerd, lieutenant ColoDel, commanding ' the Auckland District of Volunteers; Arthur Thomas, of Whangarei, settler; John David McKensde, of Whangarei, farmer; and Edward Williams, of Whangarei, saddler, certain Land in tho township of Whangarei, described in the schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of an Act passed or intended to be passed during the* present session of the General Assembly in Parliament, and which Act is shortly entitled " The Volunteer Drill Sheds and Land Act, 1888;" and that a copy of the said Bill together wi+h a plan has been deposited for inspection at the Resident Magistrate's Court-house, Whangarei, where the same can b« seen on any day except Saturday, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., and on Saturdays between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Dated thi3l6th day of May, 1888.
