IMPORTANT SALE.
We would refer our readers to the advt. in another col. touching an important sale of fruit trees to be held next Wednesday. The trees, are an exceptionally choice variety and such as our planters are in need of. They were imported by Mr Alderton for the Fruit Company which failed to float, and have cost that gentleman a considerable revenue of money. Fruit trees cost nearly three times as much in California as here owing to the stringent laws being passed by Govt. to guarantee all Nurseries being free from insect pests. The sale will be held next Wednesday, on land near Commercial Hotel at 2 o'clock.
