Hall, secretary, Gisborne Branch, N.Z.L/.P., writes, 16/623: A meeting of the G- ! s.borno Branch of the N.Z.Li.P. was held last evening' in the Labour Council Chambers, when a was extended to one of their comrades, Mr.; J. Itosemergy, who is leaving G'sborne on account of his health for Holiart. Mr. T. Hope, on bedialf of the Gis born?, Labour comrades, m presenting Mr. Rosemergy with a travollfcng rug, Bpolce culoglstically of bJs services rendered to tihe Labour movement. Ho deeply regretted tlila cause of h l_ 3 deptarture and trusted that ihe change would mean a gretat improvement in his health. He extended to our Comrade, Mrs. Rosemergy and child, tha best wishes of the Gisborne Branch. Messrs. Mann, Ferricks, Perry, Littlewood, McErlain and Hall fully endorsed the reJmarks of Mr. Hope. Mr. Rosemergy feel'-ngly replied and In thanking his comrades for the appreciation shown, stated that the Cause for Labour was his religion and would ever be.
