Ngakawau Strike Payments

The Finance Committee of the Ngjakawau Union made another payment to the members on last pay. Saturday, making the second weekly payment. Tlie committee also ."wishes ■'to acknowledge the following furiher donations: Dcnniston Engine-drivers, £24; Westport, per D. Moloney, £3; Huntiy, £10 17s; Hikurangi, £16 12s 9d; Stockton Deputies, £3 Ss; A. Mullholland, 10s; Miilertbn Union, £60; Pukeniiro, £60; Blackball, £20; Nightcaps, £30; SHate Mine £14; Westport Railway..Workers, £5 7s; R. F. £5; Roa, £6 6s; Rotawaru, £11 G«4d; "Argus" fund £3 5s 60. Amount paid our for the second weekly payment was £397 ss. The Committee hopes to be able shortly to place'before the public the- total amount received and where from, aiso the toitai amount paid out.
