Two Huntly miners, Mayjand and Moulds worth, brought a claim a few days ago against S. Dixon (president) and other members of tho Taupiri Miners' Industrial Union for wrongful dismissal and loss of wages. They have been awarded damages by Mr. Rawson, S.M., at the Huntly Court. Mayland received £60 (including £17 for loss of wages) and Mouldsworth £50 (of which £46 was for wages). Costs were granted in each case.
