The annual meeting of. the-Lyttelton Wharf Labourers' Industrial • Union Was held in the Coronation -Hall, Lyttelton last week. The president,. Mr. W...E. Agar was in the chair, and-there was a large.attendance. . ' The meeting dealt chiefly with the' election of officers for the coming-year, and the matter of the recent opening of the Coronation Hall. As the result of the ballot, the members of the old Lyttelton Stevedores' ■Union were well in the majority, and only two members of the original arbitration uniou gained seats on the com* mittee. Considerable discussion took place concerning the opening of the Corona* tion Hall, mamy of thoee present objecting to the Lyttelton Harbour Board's action in nominating three representatives of the employers, and three members of the Waterside Workers' Union to act as a, board of control for the good government of the building. A motion was proposed to the effect that the secretary should be instructed to write to the Lyttelton Harbour
