Terrace End Amateur Swimming Club

A steady increase in membership during the past year was reported at the annual meeting of the Terrace End Amateur Swimming and Life Saving Club. The meeting was generally in favour of two club nights being held, and resolved that Monday night be fixed for the juniors and Thursday for the seniors. In regard to the annual subscription, it was decided that it be graduated as follows: Primary school pupils, 3s; other school children, 2s; women, 3s 6d; and men, ss. It was also decided that nonswimmers who were members of the club should pay the usual admission charge at carnivals. Officers were elected as follow: President, Mr. W. B. Tennent; vice-presidents, nine elected; sec-retary-treasurer, Mr. J. D. Howard; club captains, Miss C. Wilson and Mr G. Stuart; committee, Misses M. Cozens, C. Wilson, N. Twigg, Mrs. M.
