No Staffing Difficulties
MANAWATTJ DAIRY COMPANY MEETING. At the annual meeting of the Alanawatu Dairy Company in Palmerston North yesterday, a communication was received from the New Zealand Dairy Board enquiring if the dairy factories were having difficulty in getting staff, and whether the company considered that the essential clauses applying to the industry should be lifted. Alembers at the meeting reported that there were few staffing difficulties since the war finished, although difficulties were encountered just before the cessation of hostilities.
It was decided to reply to the communication, stating that the factories were having no staffing difficulties at present.
Air. G. C. Dermer intimated that he had resigned from tne chairmanship of the Cheltenham Dairy Factory's Board, and his place at the company's meetings would be filled by Air. J. T. Aloar, the new chairman of the Cheltenham Factory Board.
