German Embassy Furnishings Sold
Received Tuesday 7.5 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 26. Furnishings from the German Embassy in London brought £19,800 at tne first day of an auction. Seven thousands pounds of the totfil was for carpets. A Savonnerie carpet brought £590 and an Aubusson carpet £4BO. Ribbentrop’s writing table Drought £590. Private buyers often outbid the dealers. Small mahogany bookcases brought £SO to £6O, and an ordinary mahogany armchair £BS.
