The British Communist Party conference passed a resolution in which when the charter of the 8.8. C. is before Parliament for renewal in 1945, the corporation should be made responsible to Parliament through a Cabinet" Minister. Speakers contended that the 8.8. C broadcasts were increasingly showing an anti-Soviet and anti-democratic bias.
