Theatrical Academy
The Theatrical Academy will present at the Palmerston North Opera House on Saturday, December 8, 11 Christmas Ballet,” from Tschaikowsky’s "Nutcracker Suite” by the juniors, interspersed with song and dialogue. "Variety on Revue” will also be presented, when patrons will have tho pleasure ot hearing Miss Goldsmith sing "Carmen,” from Bizet’s famous opera, and during the Spanish number Mr. C. Stephens will sing a well-known Spanish love-song. During tho "Sells of St. Mary” scene, Miss N. Kingsbeer and Mr. Stephens will render "Till tho End of Time” from the screen production "A Song to Remember.” For tho finale, a Russian setting has been chosen. The producer is Mrs. Powell, wellknown for her productions. Patrons are advised to book early at Collinson and Cunninghame’s.
