Further Remand Granted On the application of Mr. H. R. Cooper, for the police, the Magistrate, Mr. C. C. Marsack, S.M., yesterday granted a further remand of one week in the case in which Leonard Edward Spelman, aged 27 years, a newspaper runner, of 18 Weston Avenue, and Charles John Bax, aged 29 yeai’3, contractor, of Cloverlea, are being charged with unlawfully making spirits. The Magistrate granted an application by Mr. A. W. Yortt, for the accused, that their bail bo extended.
