j -Al a well attended and representative meeting of Dannevirke members ol the Hawke’s Bay branch of the New Zealand Carpenters’ and Joiners’ Industrial Union of Workers, held iu the Power Board Rooms, Dannevirke, on j Wednesday, the following resolution was carried unanimously: “That this meeting congratulates the Government on its recent legislation to amend the Electoral Act by the abolition of the country quota. ’ ’
