Small entries - of pigs and dairy cattle came forward at Tuesday’s sale held in the Pahiatua saleyards, and these were offered to a medium attendance of buyers. Values remained firm on late rates and a total clearance was made at auction. Quotations: Spg. cow:s, £11; spg. hfrs., £9 10s; ylg. Jersey hfrs., £7 15s to £7; fat Jerev hfrs., £7 15s; store cows ex dairy, £5 to £4 ss; ylg. fi.H. bull, £4 10s. Pigs, slips, 36s to 325; weaners, 34s to 295.
