Ex-servicemen in Joint Taxi Venture

HASTINGS, Nov. 8. A Hastings taxi service has been purchased by six ex-servicomen under arrangements carried through the Rehabilitation Department, which selected the applicants. The deal will be subject to approval of the transfer of the vehicle authorities being given by No. 2 Transport Licensing Authority. The purchase is a rehabilitation venture involving six vehicles, with which it is proposed to carry on a co-operative form of taxi enterprise.
