Feilding Savage Club

On Saturday evening approximately 60 Savages from the Wanganui Savage Club raided the Feilding Savage Club and supplied a programme, the like of Which is seldom heard in Feilding. After the oflicial greeting by the rangitira of the Wanganui Club, Mr. W. Steele, the programme was opened by the orchestra conducted by Mr. W. Boura consisting of close on 12 pieces. The Feilding club, whose rangitira is Mr. H. Harford, was entertainvd throughout the rest of the evening with items as follows:—Song, Sav. J. Hodder; sketch, Sav. W. Steele and Sav. Cornish; humour, Sav. F. Keeleen; sketch, savages W. Upton, W. Boura, Des. Nicholls and Hall; song, Sav. Rowe; stories, Sav. Dr. G. Adams; violin solo, Sav. W. Dunn; lightning sketch, Sav. Cornish; sketch, Sav. R. Tulloch and Sav. R. Wansborough; monologue, (sec.), Sav. E. Lind; Sketch, Sav. W. Steele and Sav. J. Hodder: musical saw, Sav. P. Palmer. It is understood that the Feilding club will return the raid in the near future.
