Miss E. Ford, formerly supervisor of the telephone exchange at the Chief Post Office, Palmerston North, lias now taken up similar duties at the Hamilton Post Office. The staff of the ex change tendered her a farewell afternoon tea at the Post Office last week, when the Chief Postmaster (Mr. M. R. Aldridge) eulogised Miss Ford’s services and made a presentation to her. Several speakers paid a tribute to Miss Ford’s work. Her successor, Miss M. M. Moriarty, of Hastings, has now taken up her duties here.
