Unsettled Weather
(Special.) NEW PLYMOUTH, May 11. The ■weather in Taranaki is unsettled and there is a likelihood of heavy going for the Egmont races to-day. Fields will be large and provision has been made to divide three events. Horses which may be in favour:— Hurdles: Taano Pango, Hard Frost, Ascot Bloom. Telegraph: First division, Tiercel, Manpower, Battlo Dance; second division, Blue Chips, Zahra, Broielov. Juvenile Handicap: Twitch, Paper Bill, Battle Survey. Hawera Handicap: Royal Greek, Alderman, Saludos. Steeplechase: Taane Pango, Master Meruit, Last Match. Champion Hack Plate: Hulabaloo, Beneve, Verify. Mcßae Handicap: Rink, Kanui te Pai, Peter’s Choice. Brough Handicap: Phalaria, Mr. Valiant, Tribal Night.
