Stalin’s Tribute to British Army and People
Received Saturday, 12.20 a.m. LONDON, May 11. Marshal Stalin has sent a message to Mr. Churchill: “I salute the valiant British armed forces and the whole British people on their great victory.” Marshal Stalin expressed the “certainty” of a further development of the friendly relations formed during the war.
Mr. Kalinin, in a message to his Majesty, said the cooperation in war would lead to fruitful collaboration in the future.
