Churchill Wants Vote of Confidence
Received Wednesday, 7.45 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 21. Mr. Churchill will ask for a vote of confidence on the Crimea Conference decisions after a two days’ Commons debate next week, stated the Daily Mail’s diplomatic correspondent, who added: ‘ ‘ The Prime Minister always feels that an impressive majority after a first-class Commons debate is an important indication to the world at large of the essential stability of Britain and his Premiership.”
