R.S.A. Club Room

The executive committee of the Pahiatua branch of the R.S.A. has now made arrangements to establish a meeting and social room. The room is situated in Main Street, near Smith and McSherry’s office, and will be used as the headquarters of the local association. An executive officer will be on duty at specified times and members will be able to make appointments with the president, secretary, or other officers of the executive committee, thus creating a greater liaison between the members and the headquarters of the association. Funds are available to meet the rental charges of the building but so that the rooms can be made reasonably comfortable the support of members and the public is sought. The following articles of furniture, etc., are required: Kitchen table (small), occasional table, several seagrass or light chairs, floor covering, mats, carpets, or runners and an electric heater. It is hoped to open the room in ±he very near future and donors are asked to phone 28 or 79.
