General Notes
Mr. L. J. Hills, club captain of the Woodville Tennis Club, has been cliopen to represent Manawatu against Wanganui at Palmerston North on Saturday. A team from Dannevirke is coming to Woodville over the week-end. Mr. Huia Houlbrooko and his daughter, Miss Ngara Houlbrooko, leave Palmerston North to-morrow for Dunedin where Ngara enters Otago University to commence a Home Science degree course. Ngara received a higher leaving certificate from the Girls’ High School at Palmerston North last year and has chosen Otago University whereat to continuo her advanced education. The degree course takes six years to complete. Ngara was a pupil of the Woodville District High School for her primary education. She has a charming stage presence as an elocutionist and will be missed at local (concerts, ~
