“Rise Against Hitler!”
NEW USE FOR BERLIN’S STREET LAMPS Received Tuesday, 8.50 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 20. “Rise against Hitler” exhorted the Moscow radio in a broadcast to the Germans. “Berlin haß been in flames, Dresden is burning, and the entire Reich to-morrow will be aflame from end to end. There are no street lights left in Berlin but there are still street lamps standing on which to hang the Nazi criminals. “You can consider yourselves entitled to make use of all conceivable means. There are sufficient arms and weapons in German towns and many members of the population have been issued with bazookas. The Allies in the west stand oil the Rhine. You have no time to lose.’ ’
