The National War Savings Campaign

The National War Savings Committee held its weekly meeting yesterday, and it was reported that some of the groups had made a flying start in the organising of their staffs for the Victory Loan. The P.D.C. have arranged for 15 small barometers to be erected in each of their departments, together with a “master" barometer with a four-figure objectivel Already 100 per cent, has been achieved in nearly half the number of departments. Considerable enthusiasm is being exhibited by both management and staff. Messrs. Goldingham and Beckett also advise the organiser that their staff have purchased £194 in National War Savings bonds, this contribution being quite apart from their weekly deposits as a group to National War Savings.
