Another Poison Gas Story

Received Friday, 10.50 p.m. NEW YORK, Aug. 81. Several special trains carrying gat have passed through Belgium and Holland towards the Channel coast, says a report from Stockholm. This support* reports that the Germans are preparing %o use gas as a last effort to avert defeat. The report adds that poison gas escaped from cylinders on a heavilyguarded train travelling through Holland from Germany last week after it had been strafed by an Allied plane. Several train guards were killed by the escaping gas which is supposed to have a new and terrible effect against which ordinary gasmasks are useless.
