Goebbels Loses Faith In Secret Weapons
LONDON, Aug. 31. Goebbela in an article in bis newspaper Das Belch to-day hinted that the boosted V2 weapon was not yet ready. He warned the German people that, although they could expect new weapons “affecting all decisive fields of general warfare, * ’ this did not mean they would have a new wonder weapon that would change the course of the war. He said the Allies undoubtedly could overtake Germany in matters of invention, and added: “It would be very foolish to expect a sudden change in the war situation overnight as an immediate result of new German weapons. “
