Mr. and Mrs. C. Jamieson, -who are removing to Dunedin, left the city last evening on their journey south. Mrs. I. Warren, of Llnwood, Christchurch, who has been the guest of Mrs. J. Barsanti, Weston Avenue, leaves on her return south to-day.
The members of the Palmerston North Townswomen’s Guild yesterday decided iO offer their congratulations to iMr. A. E. Mansford on being re-elected Mayor, also to Mrs. Mansford-(a vice-president), to Mrs. ,M. Aitchison (vice-president) on her re-election to the Hospital Board, and to the newly-elected City Council.
