The Dominion Auctioneering Company reporting on their weekly saltstate that a good entry of pigs came forward, values f.or heavy pigs improving slightly, while weaners wero on a par with last week’s rates. A largeentry of poultry was disposed of at satisfactory rates. Vegetables were in heavier supply with a strong demand prevailing. Quotations: — Pigs: Weaners 19s to 225, slips to 265. heavy stores £2 to £2 ss, heavy porkers £2 16s to £3 Is, sows to farrow £2 10s to £3 10s. Poultry: Heavy hens 6s to 8s 7d, others 4s to 5s 6d, roosters 2s to 5s 9d, ducks os 9d to 9s 6d, pullets 6s to 12s Od, broody hens to IDs 9d, young cockerels Is (id to 2s 6d, turkey gobblers to 22s Gd, turkey hens to 16s.
