Shipping Hold-up
SYDNEY, Sept. 8. More than 250 seamen at a New South Wales port have decided not to take their ships to sea until their demand for the dismissal of a chief steward was granted. The Maritime Industry Commission has ordered the ships to sea and warned the union officials that severe penalties have been proscribed for taking part in an unlawful stoppage. A union official said the dispute had been called because of tho inadequate quality and quantity of the food on a ship.
