Exchange of Prisoners With Japanese
Received Friday, 11 p.nu WASHINGTON, Sept. 3. The War Department has announced that the liner Gripsholm sailed yesterday for Mormugao in Portuguese India, carrying 1330 Japanese civilians, Rea Cross supplies and parcels of food and clothing for Americans imprisoned in Japan. The Gripsholm will meet the Japanese exchange ship Teia Maru returning 1500 Americans.
