With Churchill and Roosevelt
Received Friday, 9.40 p.m. WASHINGTON, Sept. 3.
President Roosevelt held his first Cabinet meeting since he returned from Quebec, while Mr. Churchill conferred with the heads of the various British military supply missions. The two statesmen met several times during the day. A spokesman explained that they talk whenever convenient.
The New York Times says, despite the parade of admirals and generals to see Mr. Churchill, there iB the persistent belief that both leaders are devoting considerable time to political problems relating to Russia. The hurried pace of the Russian armies suggests that progress on the solution of such problems is urgent.
