Feilding Baptist Church
The mission services at the Feilding Baptist Church were continued on Tuesday evening when Rev. A. V. Brown spoke on the subject, "Humanity at the Cross Roads. ’’ He took as the basis of his message the words of Joshua (Josh. 24:15) "Choose you this day whom you will serve, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." The speaker showed that in the lives pi every one of us, there comes ' a time when we stand at the crossroads of life, and must make our choice either for or against Christ. The importance of this choice could never be over-estimated. We are all accountable to God in this life for every moment that we spend, for the example that we set before others, and for the influence that we wield upon their lives. In making this supreme choice, there is no neutral ground —it is eifher acceptance or rejection of God’s salvation. The speaker concluded a powerful address with an urgent and telling appeal for immediate decision for Christ as Saviour. The mission services continue to-nigin and conclude on Sunday next.
