Potato Crop Quota
The Manawatu-Kairanga-Horowhenua district has been allotted by the Government a quota of 1400 acres of potatoes to grow in the coining season, this being a substantial increase on the last crops. The additional potatoes are required for delivery in the FebruaryApril period of 1944. Advice to this effect has been received by Mr. H. J. 1 Rees (secretary of the Manawatu Primary Production Council). By special arrangement Reuter’s world service, in addition to other special compilation of oversea intelligence published in this issue, and all rights therein in Australia and New Zealand are reserved.
