Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Mar. 10. Consideration lias bene given to the declaration of domestic serving as essential, stated the Prime Minister m reply to a question asked on the matter by Mrs. Dreaver, in tlie House to-night, but owing to technical difficulties and the temporary nature of much domestic employment it has not been found possible to provide the cover of the regulations for domestic servants. Mr. Fraser added, however, that manpower officers had been instructed to refrain from directing domestic servants away from homes where their services were really needed owing to sickness or care of children. They also had instructions that in cases of necessity permission for tlie employment in private homes of domestics should not be withheld and every effort should bo made to provide necessary help in cases of hardship.
