Atkinson, who underwent an operation in Feilding’s private hospital, is making a good recovery and hopes to be returning to his home shortly. “Why two representatives from Palmerston North?” was a question asked at yesterday’s meeting of the Manawatu County Council when the Council was discussing the membership of the proposed Manawatu Catchment Board which was set out in a letter from the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Council.
