Kimboltan

(From Our Own Correspondent.) The hall was filled to overflowing when the Kimbolton-Iviwitea Soldiers’ Entertainment Committee sponsored a social and dance to welcome home Sergeant S. Lewis, who was recently invalided home from the Middle East. Visitors were present from Feilding, Apiti and Kiwitea. Airs. P. Lewis mother of the guest of honour, was presented with a bouquet by Janet Roberts, and Rev. Fluery spoke on behalf of those present, extending best wishes to Sergeant Lewis on his safe return and trusted that he would soon be his normal self once again and that his disability would be overcomo after treatment. Music for dancing was supplied by a proiessional orchestra, and Air. R. Schmidt carried out the duties of M.C. Supper was served by the ladies of the district.
