A successful dance was held in aid of the hall funds. Visitoi's were present from Glen Oroua, Taikorea, Oroua Downs and Opiki. All*. Alsop was AI.C. Items were given by Airs. L. Hunter (musical monologue), Mrs. H. Cook and Mr. R. Algar (songs), Misses Reid, Jepsen, Kelly and Chapman (quartette), Aliss and Air. Oliver (tap dances). Novelty dances were won by Alisses Bahout and N. Reid. Winners of the fortnightly euchre were: Ladies, Airs. S. Pearce 1, Aliss R. Russell 2; men, Alx\ L. Hunter 1, Air. D. Sargisson 2. Air. J. Legge was the winner of the points prize given by Air. and Airs. T. Griffen. Alembers of the local W.I. and W.W.S.A. combined last Wednesday in cleaning the hall. There was a disappointing attendance, only 14 ladies being present.
